KTrans extended our Mainfreight lines to 6 Kenworth K200, Vawdrey combinations transporting between Perth and Sydney or Melbourne. We welcomed 2 new B Double combinations in Chemcourier colours. The vehicles have been outfitted to maximise productivity with a GCM of 68 tonne under NHVR Higher Mass Limits. All vehicles are tracked using Teletrac Navman GPS units, enabling on the fly compliance, speed monitoring and mass declarations to be performed by drivers using truck based tablets. Manned by 2 drivers operating under BFM, we are able to maintain return east/west trips at less than an average of 45 hours travel time.
