Real-Time Fatigue/Distraction & Safety Management for Drivers
KTrans have deployed dash-mounted and in-cabin cameras to our Express linehaul fleet to increase the safety and security of these vehicles. Another benefit of the technology has been in coaching and training drivers. “Over time, we have seen a reduction in at-fault accidents and an overall improvement of driving behaviours”.
The next stage of this evolution is to manage fatigue events and distraction proactively in real-time using the Seeing Machines’ Guardian product. From all research reviewed, we are confident that this early intervention will assist in preventing road incidents.
